1957 NSU Quickly ‘S’ in Superb Restored Condition.
This machine was totally restored by NSU specialist Roger Worton.
The engine was rebuilt.
The wheels were re-chromed.
It has good Michelin tyres.
It was resprayed.
It has period accessory panniers.
It’s DVLA registered, MOT’d and taxed.
It has been on many cyclemotor runs,
and is very reliable.
I bought this machine from a friend. It has served him well, on many runs (hence the photos showing him standing next to it and riding it).
I like the Quickly Model S, the only disadvantage usually being that the machine itself has outlasted the chrome on the wheels.
In this case, the wheels were rechromed during its restoration. The extent of the restoration is such that if you got a Quickly for free, you would spend much more than my asking price by the time you got it to this excellent standard.
Photos usually make a bike look better, but this one is actually even nicer in real life than in the photos.
The V5C registration document is present. It starts easily and runs well.

These are rare vehicles whose values are not necessarily based on running order.
