I took it for a spin around the Somerset countryside when I went up to the recent Bristol Classic Bike Show, so you can see a few pictures of it on my stand.
It’s a very attractive machine. The engine covers are a pleasing design feature.
I particularly like parts of it that remind me of various British fifties bikes.
To summarize: everything works on it and it’s a good ride. The fact it uses a Villiers engine makes it a practical French bike in the UK. You won’t find too many other 53-year-old motorcycles, French or British, like this one.

As you can see from the advert below, Koehler-Escoffier was also Monet Goyon, as the latter company took over Koehler (as well as many other manufacturers) but continued to use the marque for some of its range.

These are rare vehicles whose values are not necessarily based on running order.
