Mechanically Restored and Ready to Ride

I bought this nice original Automoto in France and, after bringing it home, dropped it round to my mechanic for him to check it over.

However, when i called back to see him again later that week, he had the whole motorcycle in pieces over his workshop floor. He told me that although he realised I didn’t ask for it to be totally mechanically restored, he was enjoying himself so much he did it anyway!

So the new owner of this lovely sixty-year-old machine will benefit from his enjoyment.

It’s not road-registered, and it needs a few minor items such as a rear number plate light and left-side chainguard. However, we fitted new tyres and inner tubes, and it starts easily and rides well. The engine is a 98cc Villiers.
