This 1964 D7 Bantam is in very good all-round condition.
The previous owner found this charming BSA in 2002, in storage, where it had remained since 1977. He restored it mechanically, replaced the seat, repainted it in its original colour, and used it regularly over the past 10 years. It starts easily and runs well. The only idiosyncrasy I can report is that it sometimes jumps out of first gear.
It has a full history file, including a copy of the instruction manual and old logbook. I took a short video starting the bike.
This is an ideal first vintage motorcycle. Spares are cheap and easy to find should you ever need any. It’s a reliable machine and a pleasure to ride.
There’s no reserve, and the starting price is the original price – £122 14/- 9d.
