MOT to 4th August 2012.
This is my friend Ted’s old moped. He used it for many years and it never let him down. The bodywork is very sound. The paint has been touched up here and there, and the seat has been rebuilt, so it’s hardly a concours machine. But is a perfect bike for regular use. It was recently MOT’d, runs well and is ready for a new owner to ride home.
This 48-year-old 50cc moped is the ideal starter vintage motorcycle: it’s a four-stroke, is very reliable, and these early Honda step-throughs have now become very rare and sought-after. Whether you want to restore it, or just use it as it is for classic runaround or commuter bike, they only ever appreciate in value and become increasingly harder to find.
